Peanut Avenue is a puppet show for adults who’ve realised life isn’t quite the cheerful cartoon they were promised. Hosted by relentlessly upbeat Kimberly Q (Ally Ryan) and the chaotic, slightly damp Plopso (Stephen Mullan), each episode dives headfirst into one of life’s messier truths—like do dreams really come true, or how to do the walk of shame. It looks like a kids’ show, but it’s not. It’s a felt-covered fever dream that laughs in the face of adulthood and then gives it a reluctant hug.
